Williams Bay Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), located at the corner of Congress and Collie Streets in the village of Williams Bay. (Directions to the church)
WHO WE ARE
  • A smaller, more intimate Christian community with a strong commitment to living out God’s grace in our neighborhood and the world.

  • A worshiping community gathered around God’s Word in Christ and the Sacraments. Relevant biblical preaching, fine hymn singing, a rich liturgical heritage and spirit of hospitality characterize our weekly Holy Communion service.

  • A learning community through Bible study and education for people of all ages.
  • A community and global provider of assistance, supporting the local food pantry, Salvation Army bell-ringing, Highway Pickup Program, the Crop Walk, the Walworth County Homeless Shelter Program, Habitat for Humanity, ELCA Hunger Appeal and ELCA Missions.

  • A “summer home” for visitors and summer residents, and a Christian home for some 200 members from the village and surrounding area.
It's Our 60th Anniversary Celebration!

We have much to celebrate here at Williams Bay Lutheran Church. This year marks our 60th Anniversary as a Lutheran Congregation and the retirement of the debt on our Building & Renovation Project. It is members and friends like you that have helped us reach where we are today in our ministry of bringing God’s word into our community and world.

So, we want to celebrate on Saturday, October 2nd and hope that you will join us. Beginning at 3:00 p.m. that day we will gather in our narthex for refreshment and time for informal visiting with one another; time for old and new members to become acquainted or reacquainted. This will be followed by an hour long program beginning at 4:00 p.m. where we will have a chance to hear from former pastors and sons & daughters of the congregation. The voices of our young people and Senior Choir will combine with a devotion time of scripture and prayer. We’ll end our afternoon with a traditional Lutheran potluck meal in our fellowship hall. A printed, updated church history will be available for each family that day as well.
