Our History:
Williams Bay Lutheran Church began in 1949 through the efforts of a small group of founders who originally came together by meeting in the community room of the Barrett Library under the pasturing of Rev. Norman Nelson. In 1953, the cornerstone of a new church building was laid. The building project proceeded slowly, as much of the work was done by volunteers. The formal dedication of the building took place on July 17, 1955. Since then, the congregation has grown and continues its emphasis on outreach and the mission of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ in worship, fellowship and service.
